Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner...

Our wedding rehearsal was tonight. It was a lot different to be a bride at the wedding rehearsal compared to my past experiences of being a bridesmaid at a wedding rehearsal. Everyone had a lot of questions and wanted my input every step of the way. Our rehearsal was a four o'clock this evening and I was so busy preparing stuff for our reception that I ended up being twenty minutes late to my own rehearsal (lets pray that doesn't happen on Saturday...just kidding...it won't happen I promise.)

After the rehearsal we went out to Mira Loma to Johnny Carinos for our rehearsal dinner. All of our wedding party and immediate family members were there and it was a fun, relaxing evening. I was very happy to get to spend time with all of the people in my life that mean the most to me. The dinner started off with rosemary bread with olive oil with roasted garlic for dipping. The second course was a choice of two salads, an italian salad and a ceasar salad (I had both and they were both delicious, although I did prefer the italian dressing which surprised me because ceasar is normally my favorite.) The main course followed, which was served family style. The choices were spagetti and meatballs, chicken parmessian, lasagna, and, my personal favorite of the night, lemon caiper chicken serverd over angel hair pasta and garlic green beans (it was the perfect blend of flavors.) I, like most people there, had a little bit of everything. By the time the main course was over I was stuffed and I think everyone else was too. But, alas, there was dessert, which was equally delicious to the rest of the meal. Dessert was tirmasu from the Cheesecake Factory. It was soooo good and even though my stomach said "No more food," I went ahead and helped myself to a giant piece of it and loved every second of it.

Overall, it was definately the best food I have ever had at a rehearsal dinner (thank you Paul and Debbie...great choice) and the best time I have had at a reherasal dinner.
